Everyone wants to be living the American Dream, but it is hard to get started. Don’t stress the US government and large institutions are here to help.

I started writing this post specifically during our difficult times dealing with COVID-19. Our accounting firm was nice enough to give me a call. The US government has rolled out some grants and loans to cover payroll. Some or all of which can be completely forgiven.

Not sure if this is helpful for you, but thought it was worth the share. The information they sent me, for the Paycheck Protection Program can be found here and the application can be found here.  If you are interested you may want to discuss with your banker in the states. Not sure if the funding is limited or not.

The government is in hopes you will keep your staff during the crisis. The loan will not work for all staff. It’s only for staff you have that get paid under $100k/year, from my understanding so far. Loans can be up to 2.5x of average monthly payroll costs, not to exceed $10 million.

Also there was another grant at sba.gov, the direct link is below specifically dealing for the coronavirus:

And the following is just a growing list my friends and business contacts are sending me.
